Oh, first is never lucky..but oh well, the best b-day cake i've ever had?
Well, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and when I was younger, I had a Harry Potter cake. that was pretty sweet! :)

I love angel food cake. Plain. That's what I have every year! But you know, maybe I should branch out a bit - which I why I need the book!
I'm not sure about cakes that I've had, but when my daughter was little I made her a 2 layer cake covered in homemade buttercream studded with gumdrops. It turned out very cute.
I made a circus cake once complete with little elephants made out of marshmallows.
OK I have to enter in for this one. I did a cake for Jon 2 years ago that was a tool box with a hammer, screwdriver and something else in it. I really liked how the tools turned out. That was my favorite one.
My favorite birthday cake was my Cinderella cake I got i love all the detail on it! my mom gave it to me and it was special!

No need to enter me, Lisa (good thing, because my most special cake was the Penguin confection made by the French baker. But it wasn't a cake. It was a Penguin.).
I'm just dropping in to say thanks for the e-mail. I've got this posted at Win a Book for you.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Well, the best cake I ever had was a Cinderella cake that my mom got for me when I turned 5 years old. It is also the first cake I recall. It wasn't so much the cake that was amazing. The coach and Cinderella dancing with her prince just blew me away. Thanks for the chance!

My favorite cake is an angel food cake with a whipped chocolate pudding frosting! It is so yummy my grandma has been making it for me since I was a little girl, its a once a year treat! Thanks for entering me this looks like such a cute book!
I always made fun cakes when my kids were little. One was shaped like a basketball (easy), a bunny (also easy), batman and a construction cake. The kids especially loved those two and we just put little figurines and matchbox dumptrucks and bulldozers and stuff on them along with other goodies. The best part was licking the frosting off of new toys!

My favorite cake is my birthday cake which is always an angel food cake with strawberry icing....I have no idea how or when the pink icing came into play, yet every yr it is repeated.
I'd love to get this book for my neice!
Thanks so much

It's been so long that I don't remember....but I surely would love to win this book for my four-year-old granddaughter who wants to be a chef!
The best cake I ever had was a circus cake for my 5th birthday. There must have been 10 clowns all over the cake with lions and tigers and bears (oh my! LOL).
My favorite cake was one I bought myself from the then new chain to the city Whole Foods way back when I was in high school.
Chocolate cake (eggless and milk free if I remember right) topped with a thin layer of fudgy chocolate ganesh and fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi fruit, and rasberries).
The most memorable as a kid was the apple shaped cake my mom made for my sister, who wanted a "big apple birthday party" when she turned 4.
My favorite birthday cake was very unexpected. A student's mom made me a flan for my birthday. They had my phone number and called my house. I was at a church event and they surprised me at the church with the cake! It was a very memorable birthday.
The best b-day cake I ever had was probably a Cold Stone Creamery ice cream cake that had actual yellow cake in it as well as ice cream and raspberries on top. It was so yummy even though my b-day is in January so it was too darn cold out for ice cream!
This is easy. The best birthday cake I ever had was for my 10th birthday...the Barbie Doll cake. The doll's fancy, frilly dress was made of cake and decorated in icing and her bodice was also icing. In the end, I got the (now naked) Barbie Doll. I never see these type of cakes anymore....
My favorite cake was the firefighter cake we had for my son's second birthday party. It had a firetruck, little fireman and the water coming out of the hose spelled out Happy Birthday. Very cute. This book looks great!
My favorite birthday cake is the strawberry Cheesequake ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. It's the best. Thanks for the chance.
What a great giveaway! I love to get creative when I bake, so this would be a blast!
Each birthday cake I've gotten was special, because my parents would always decorate them with toys. One year, I had pirate action figures sitting on top of my cake. That was pretty rad!
Thank you for the chance!
