Book Ahoy!
The world and all is mine –
When in secluded nook,
The mundane present fades;
As I embark by book.
On square rigged frigate,
Watch the diamond wake;
Swift we close on skull-flagged ship
Their pillaged treasures take.
Or, board a graceful galleon –
Scarlet sales to the breeze;
Trireme, ancient, oars tuned
To dip, raise against the seas.
Else, see the high-sterned junk –
Reflect in brown and sluggish stream;
While teeming life around
Moves on – a tinkling china dream.
Perhaps, a shallow scow
To thread the Amazon –
Dark, sweated arms ply the oar
Through mystic jungles ever on.
Orchids cling to mossy bough,
Flash of brilliant feathered wing
Accents green on wave of green –
Dare venturous hearts to sing.
Now hurry back from wandering;
My bark must turn away –
So close the pages softly,
But go another day.

What do you mean by the "F word"?
I was trying to read more non-fiction, but couldn't seem to stay away from fiction. the f word refers to fiction.
